Two Are Better
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Happy Valentines Day! The day we celebrate the love in our lives. This day wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t recognize the love of my life. I don’t know where I would be without him. I love doing life with him. He has lifted me up more times than I can count and has been keeping me warm for going on 37 years. He is an incredible man. But, it is the third strand in our relationship that keeps it strong. From the beginning, God has wrapped himself in our daily lives making it impossible for anyone to break our cord of love.
Two are better, but three is best. May God be the strength that binds your relationships together today as we celebrate love, and every day after that……
