Mark 8:1-3 During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.”
Our walk with Jesus is a personal journey. Our daily quiet time with him is an important part of the journey. But, just as important is the community of believers we interact with on a regular basis. I will always have a a special bond with the kids in my high school youth group, the women I have learned from in Bible Studies, and the church groups who have worked together to increase the Kingdom of God. When we come together, we can do wonderful things in Jesus name.
Who is a part of your community?
Who can you go to when you need someone to lean on or talk things through?
Who are you encouraging in their walk with Jesus? Welcome them into your community!.
