Clean

Psalm 51:7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

I am a sinner and beg to be clean.

I worked in our 100 year old barn all week. I removed manure and abandoned bedding from under the stairs to the hay mow. I blew out the remaining dirt with a leaf blower. My week ranked up there with one of the dirtiest jobs I have ever done. At the end of the day, I could hardly wait to jump in the shower to let the water run over my filthy body. After a thorough scrubbing, I feel much better on the outside. But what about all those days when I feel filthy on the inside? Only God can wash me clean then. He knows every sin I have ever committed, and he loves me anyways. God is the only one who is able to clean me from the inside out. He gives us a fresh start every day. Clean my heart oh God. Amen
