The Easter Journey

Luke 9:44-45 “Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.” But they did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

It is Holy Week. We are on our final walk into Easter. In the verses above, Jesus is trying to prepare his disciples for what is going to take place as He walked into Easter. But the disciples can’t comprehend what the journey to the cross entails. How could anyone understand the sacrifice Jesus is prepared to make future generations, for you and for me? How will you spend your week walking into Easter as you honor Jesus’ death and resurrection? God bless you this Holy Week.

I would love to hear what your favorite verse was from last week’s readings. This week’s readings are……
