The Lamb

Luke 15:4-7 Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, “Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.” I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

I found her! We sorted through roughly 60 lambs to find this little ewe to begin my fiber flock. She wasn’t the biggest or fastest, but I love her. There was just something in her eyes when she looked at me. We are busy preparing a warm safe place for her in our barn while she grows stronger, is weaned and ready to leave the world she knows.

Jesus has chosen you to be a part of his flock. Run to him! There is rejoicing in heaven over you. He is preparing a warm safe place just for you. You are loved!

I think about my little ewe lamb every day as I wait anxiously for her to come home to our farm. (I am sure my upcoming blogs will be filled with lamb pictures) Have a great week. God Bless You
