Which Came First?
Genesis 1:24-25 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
These baby chicks were hatched on Wednesday and arrived at our farm on Thursday. I am amazed at the instincts of baby animals. I lifted each chick from their box to dipped their tiny beak in the water dish. Within minutes they are eating and drinking as they explored their new habitat. They don’t have a mama to teach them, they just know.
God created all living creatures, and it was good. It is still good! These soft little fluff ball chicks are a miracle. I could listen to their little peeps all day long as they communicate with one another and run from one end of their home to the other. Every morning they are a little bigger and stronger. By August they will be laying eggs, and the circle will continue.
God created an incredible world for our enjoyment. What makes you stop and think, that is amazing? What brings you joy, peace and comfort? Thank God for that!
