The Ant

Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

Have you ever tried to take a picture of an ant? It isn’t easy. I tried for days to end up with the blurry picture above….. The ant never stopped moving. The ant is busy, always working. Likewise, a farmer once told me “you need to make hay while the sun shines”. The sun is shining my friend. It is time to move.

During this unprecedented summer of COVID we are unable to gather for worship or attend Vacation Bible School or church picnics. How can you be more like the ant, gathering others for Christ. Be an ant, not a sluggard! Prepare for the harvest.
