We Are All In This Together

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

How are you all doing? The range of emotions I feel in just one day are overwhelming, and we have been in this pandemic for over a month. I have been doing a lot of knitting (it calms me). I have also been spending more time on the phone with my kids and parents. How are you comforting those around you?

With the gift of extra time I have been given, I spending more time in prayer and the Bible. The power and wisdom of God’s Word is simply the best. God is bigger than all my fears! Where are you receiving comfort?

God bless you as we continue to quarantine alone, knowing that we are all in this together. We will come out the other end stronger because of the love we have shared during these COVID days.
