Memorial Day Weekend
2 Timothy 2:1-4 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs – he wants to please his commanding officer.
To all who have served and those who are serving today – thank you!
Thank you to my dad and father-in-law who served over 50 years ago. Thank you to my brother-in-law who retired on Friday after serving 30 years. Thank you to my nephew who graduated from basic training earlier this month.
Thank you for your sacrifice and commitment to keeping our country safe.
You are my hero!
