Requirements

Micah 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

This isn’t a suggestion. It is a requirement. It is a call to action. Micah shared these words with the people God delivered from Egypt in hopes of establishing a model society. It was a radical way of thinking in 800BC. God wasn’t interested in rituals or burnt offerings. God was and still is interested in our hearts which lead to the actions in which we live our lives in community. It isn’t a suggestion. It is required of you to act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
