Ministry

Luke 3:21-23 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.

God gave Jesus an incredible send-off into his ministry throughout the land. Today we celebrated our Pastor’s ten year anniversary in ministry from the pulpit. Ministry takes place in church buildings, in the wilderness and in our neighborhoods. People called into ministry are a blessing. Who has ministered to you over the years? Let them know how they have touched your life. They are a gift from God and should be celebrated.
