Teamwork

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good return on their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

“Teamwork makes the dream work!” We have all heard the saying, but who knew it was biblical? In Ecclesiastes, Solomon tells us of the virtues of teamwork. It takes more than one person to be successful or to even survive in this world. Mike and I attended a Loons professional soccer game this week. Now those young men understand teamwork. For over 90 minutes, the 11 men moved a soccer ball up and down the 130 yard by 100 yard field. They kicked the ball to where their teammate was going, not where they were standing. It was a thing of beauty to watch teamwork in action. Who is on your team? Are they assisting in moving you forward? I pray that you and your team move down the field of life with ease as you help one another past the opponent.
